Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter

– 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar

– 1 1/4 cups Dutch-process cocoa

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1 teaspoon sea salt

– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

– 4 large eggs

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

– 1 1/2 cups toffee bits, divided (with 1 cup mixed into the batter and the rest sprinkled on top)

– 1 cup roughly chopped oven roasted sea salt almonds

– Extra sea salt for sprinkling on top, if desired

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 350Β°F and grease a 9 by 13-inch pan to get started on this easy recipe.

2-Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then add the sugar and stir until it’s shiny without boiling; remove from heat to keep things smooth.

3-Stir in the cocoa, baking powder, sea salt, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined for that deep chocolate flavor.

4-Add the eggs and mix until the batter is smooth, creating a perfect base for the goodies to come.

5-Incorporate the flour, chocolate chips, and 1 cup of the toffee bits, stirring until smooth to ensure even distribution.

6-Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then evenly sprinkle the remaining toffee bits and chopped almonds over the top, and add extra sea salt if you want that extra kick.

7-Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, for brownies that are fudgy inside.

8-Let the brownies cool on a rack, then cut into squares for serving, and store in an airtight container for 2-3 days to keep them fresh.
