🐟 Cajun Honey Butter Salmon delivers a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors that enhance the natural richness of the salmon.
🍯 This easy-to-make recipe offers a quick, flavorful dinner option that’s both satisfying and richly aromatic.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb (about 450 g) salmon fillets, thawed (34 pieces)

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

ΒΌ cup (about 57 g) salted butter, melted

ΒΌ cup (about 85 g) honey (regular or substitute; truffle honey optional)

ΒΌ tsp Cajun seasoning

5 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

1-First, rub Cajun seasoning over both sides of the salmon fillets and set them aside to let the flavors soak in.

2-Next, heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until it’s just right for searing.

3-In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, and minced garlic to form the sauce that ties everything together.

4-Place the salmon in the hot pan with the skin side up and cook for about 3 minutes to get a good sear.

5-Flip the fillets and cook for another 3 minutes or until they’re opaque and flaky.

6-In the last minute, lower the heat to medium-low, pour half the sauce over the salmon, and let it caramelize for that extra taste.

7-Remove the salmon from the heat, then pour the remaining sauce on top for a glossy finish.

8-Optionally, garnish with parsley and lemon slices to add a fresh touch.
