πŸ– Crockpot Meatloaf Recipe brings tender, flavorful slow-cooker comfort with minimal effort.
πŸ… The rich brown sugar ketchup glaze adds a perfect sweet and tangy finish to this classic dish.

  • Total Time: 6 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 2 pounds (approximately 907 grams) ground beef

– 1 large finely minced yellow onion

– 2 boxes (6 ounces each) dried stuffing mix (savory herbs variety preferred)

– 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 cups whole milk

– 2 large eggs

– 2 tablespoons glaze (from the recipe below)

– 1 teaspoon kosher salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 1/2 cups ketchup for brown sugar ketchup glaze

– 1/4 cup light brown sugar for brown sugar ketchup glaze

– 2 tablespoons finely minced onion for brown sugar ketchup glaze

– 1 tablespoon yellow mustard for brown sugar ketchup glaze

– 2 teaspoons white vinegar for brown sugar ketchup glaze

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper for brown sugar ketchup glaze

Instructions

1-Begin by lining a 6-quart or larger slow cooker with heavy-duty aluminum foil and giving it a light spray of non-stick cooking spray for easy cleanup. Whisk together all the glaze ingredients in a bowl and set it aside for later. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced yellow onion, dried stuffing mix, whole milk, eggs, 2 tablespoons of the prepared glaze, kosher salt, and black pepper using your hands until just mixed don’t overdo it to avoid a tough texture.

2-Shape the mixture into an oval loaf that fits comfortably in your lined crockpot. Spread about 1/2 cup of the glaze over the top of the loaf, then cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6 hours. This gentle cooking method ensures the meatloaf stays tender and full of flavor, with cooking times possibly varying based on your crockpot’s settings or the loaf’s size.

3-Once the cooking time is up, carefully lift the meatloaf out using the foil, place it on a baking sheet, and top it with 2/3 cup of the remaining glaze. Broil it until the glaze becomes sticky and bubbly, adding that irresistible caramelized finish. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving with the extra glaze on the side this recipe serves about 8 people perfectly.
