๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿฐ Fun, festive presentation with creamy frosting centers โ€“ ideal for parties, holidays, or chocolate lovers seeking bold flavor twists!

  • Total Time: 42 minutes
  • Yield: 24 brownies

Ingredients

– 18.3 ounce box fudgy brownie mix

– 2 large eggs

– 2/3 cup vegetable oil

– 3 tablespoons water

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla

– 1 to 2 teaspoons festive sprinkles

Instructions

1-First Step: Prep the pan and oven Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray the egg-shaped silicone molds well with nonstick spray so the brownies release easily after baking. This step matters because these brownies need to keep their shape, and silicone molds work best when they are lightly coated.

2-Second Step: Mix the brownie batter Prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions on the box. In most cases, that means combining the 18.3 ounce box fudgy brownie mix with 2 large eggs, 2/3 cup vegetable oil, and 3 tablespoons water. Stir until the batter looks smooth and glossy, but do not overmix. Overmixing can make the brownies dense in the wrong way and affect the final texture.

3-Third Step: Fill the molds Spoon the brownie batter into each mold cavity, filling each one about 3/4 full. That gives the brownies enough room to rise without spilling over. Use a small scoop or spoon to keep the portions even, which helps all the brownie eggs bake at the same rate.

4-Fourth Step: Bake until just set Place the molds on a baking sheet for easier handling and bake according to the package directions, usually about 22 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Check for doneness with a toothpick inserted into the center. You want moist crumbs, not wet batter, on the toothpick. That means the brownies are baked through but still soft and fudgy.

5-Fifth Step: Create the deviled egg center As soon as the brownies come out of the oven, press a small cavity into the center of each warm brownie. Use the back of a small spoon or the end of a measuring spoon. Do this while the brownies are still warm, because they are much easier to shape at that point. If you wait too long, they will firm up and crack when you press them.

6-Sixth Step: Cool completely Let the brownies cool completely in the molds before adding frosting. This is one of the most important steps. If the brownies are even a little warm, the frosting can melt and lose its shape. Cooling fully also helps the brownies hold together when you remove them from the molds.

7-Seventh Step: Make the frosting In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. The frosting should be thick enough to pipe but soft enough to spoon into a bag. If it seems too thick, let it sit for a few minutes. If it seems too loose, chill it briefly before piping.

8-Eighth Step: Pipe and decorate Spoon the frosting into a piping bag fitted with a 1M tip. Pipe a swirl or dollop into each brownie cavity so it looks like the yolk of a deviled egg. Then top with 1 to 2 teaspoons festive sprinkles for a bright finish. You can keep the frosting white for a classic deviled egg look, or tint it with food gel for birthdays, holidays, or themed parties.

9-Ninth Step: Serve with style Arrange the finished brownies on a deviled egg tray for a charming presentation. That little detail makes the dessert feel extra fun and helps the egg shape stand out. Serve them chilled or at cool room temperature for the best texture.
