๐Ÿฏ Honey Mustard Chicken offers a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors that make weeknight meals both quick and delicious.
๐Ÿ— This recipe uses simple ingredients to create juicy, flavorful chicken with crispy skin, ideal for busy cooks seeking tasty dinners.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

– 1/4 cup honey

– 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

– 2 garlic cloves, minced

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary

– 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (177ยฐC). Place the 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs in a 9ร—13-inch baking dish and pat them dry with paper towels for crispier skin.

2-In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup Dijon mustard, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary, 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.

3-Generously brush or spoon the honey mustard mixture over the chicken thighs, making sure to coat them evenly.

4-Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 175ยฐF (80ยฐC).

5-For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken on the top oven setting for 2 to 3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Notes

๐ŸŒฟ If fresh herbs are unavailable, substitute with 1 teaspoon dried herbs or Italian herb blend.
๐Ÿ— Bone-in, skin-on thighs provide superior flavor and moisture; boneless or skinless cook faster but can be less juicy.
โฐ Marinate chicken in sauce for a couple of hours before baking to deepen flavors.
