Ingredients

– 8 cups popcorn Use air-popped for low-calorie

– 2 cups pretzels Gluten-free pretzels for celiac-friendly

– 1/2 cup honey Maple syrup for vegan

– 1/3 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– Salt to taste

– 1 1/2 cups chocolate-covered pretzel bites or substitute with malt balls or similar chewy candies if unavailable

Instructions

1-First, place the 8 cups of popped popcorn and 2 cups of pretzels in a large bowl and set aside.

2-In a small saucepan, mix the 1/2 cup honey and 1/3 cup granulated sugar, bring to a boil, then simmer for about 2 minutes.

3-Remove from heat and stir in the 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter vigorously until melted, then add the 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

4-Pour the peanut butter caramel mixture immediately over the popcorn and pretzels, gently stirring to coat evenly.

5-Season with salt to taste and stir in the 1 1/2 cups chocolate-covered pretzel bites.

6-Serve right away for the best fresh taste.
