2-In a large bowl or mixer, beat the butter and sugar until just blended, creating a smooth base.

3-Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then continue beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.

4-Beat in the pumpkin; the mixture might look grainy or curdled, but that’s perfectly normal and will even out.

5-Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture on low speed until just combined, avoiding overmixing to keep the bread tender.

6-Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans for uniform loaves.

7-Bake for 65 to 75 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the loaves cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
