1 cup powdered sugar, sifted and divided

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled

1 1/2 cups seedless raspberry jam, warmed slightly

3 cups fresh raspberries

1 pound loaf of pound cake, cut into 1-inch cubes

Chocolate curls or chunks for garnish

Instructions

1-First, beat the cream cheese until smooth in a large bowl.

2-Blend in half the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.

3-Whip the heavy cream with the remaining powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

4-Fold the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture.

5-Layer the trifle dish with jam, raspberries, pound cake cubes, and cream mixture, repeating layers.

6-Finish with raspberries and chocolate curls on top.

7-Chill for at least one hour before serving.
