Ingredients

– 3 pounds cube steak (extra tenderized round steak)

– 1 1/2 cups whole milk

– 2 large eggs

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 2 teaspoons seasoned salt

– 3/4 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– Kosher salt (to taste)

– Black pepper (to taste)

– 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil

– 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

1-First, beat 1 1/2 cups whole milk with 2 large eggs in one bowl to create the wet mixture.

2-In another bowl, mix 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons seasoned salt, black pepper to taste, 3/4 teaspoon paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper for the dry coating.

3-Season 3 pounds of cube steak with kosher salt and black pepper, then coat each piece in the flour mixture.

4-Dip the coated steak into the egg and milk mixture, making sure it’s fully covered.

5-Coat the steak again in the flour mixture for extra crunch, then set aside.

6-Heat 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.

7-Fry the steaks in batches of about three pieces, cooking for 2 minutes per side until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
