๐Ÿ— Enjoy a fun and creative dessert that mimics the look of turkey legs while being sweet and satisfying.
๐ŸŽ‰ Perfect for easy and flavorful treats that kids and adults will love at any gathering or celebration.

  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 12 treats

Ingredients

– 6 pretzel rods broken in half Forms the base and “bone” of the treat

– 1 bag (approximately 340 grams) of white candy melts or 1 cup of vanilla baking chips Used for coating the pretzels to create the drumstick appearance

– 1 bag (about 280 grams) of mini marshmallows, with 24 reserved for decoration The main binder for the cereal mixture, plus extras for the ends

– 8 cups of cocoa-flavored puffed rice cereal Adds crunch and a chocolatey flavor to the treats

– 1/4 cup (56 grams) of butter Helps melt the marshmallows smoothly for the perfect mix

Instructions

1-First, melt the white candy melts according to the package instructions, then dip the ends of the pretzel rods in the melted candy and attach two mini marshmallows to each end to form the ‘bone’ part of the drumstick. Let this set for a few minutes so it holds its shape.

2-Next, dip the pretzel rods again into the melted candy melts, covering about two-thirds of each rod for the coated section. In a separate pot, melt the butter over low heat, then add the remaining mini marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully melted. Once that’s done, mix in the cocoa-flavored puffed rice cereal until it’s evenly coated.

3-After the cereal mixture has cooled enough to handle, about 5 minutes, shape it around the candy-coated pretzel rods to form the ‘drumstick’ portion, using nonstick cooking spray on your hands to prevent sticking. Place the assembled treats on wax paper and let them cool completely at room temperature for about 15 minutes to harden remember, avoid the fridge to keep them from getting soggy. This whole process, including prep and cooling, takes around 50 minutes, making it a hit for busy parents and baking enthusiasts alike.
